At Isflokk.Travels, hiking is more than following a trail. It is a way to slow down, connect with nature, and discover the character, history and hidden stories of a place. Each experience is tailored to your interests, pace and hiking level.
Choose from four hiking experiences:
Nature Hiking — forests, coastlines, landscapes and local wildlife. Cultural Hiking — walking combined with local history, traditions and heritage. Burial Mounds Hiking — ancient burial mounds and prehistoric landscapes, and the people who lived here thousands of years ago. Mindfulness Hiking — a slower, more peaceful walk, reconnecting with the landscape.
Before the hike you'll discuss what you'd like to experience and choose a route together, adapted to the season, weather, and the interests and abilities of your group. During the hike there's time to explore, take photographs and discover the landscape from a local perspective.

Basic fitness. Guests should be comfortable walking for around 3 hours on natural trails and uneven terrain, with breaks as needed.

Equipment
Provided: No specialist equipment is required or provided. Route information and guidance are included.
Bring your own: Comfortable hiking shoes, weather-appropriate clothing, water and a small backpack. Rain protection is recommended depending on the weather.
